Why test the efficacy of the hearing protections?

 Measuring the actual attenuation of your hearing protections allows you to:

• guarantee the hearing health of the individuals exposed to noise,
• protect yourself against the risk of occupational deafness.

Relevant software

Up to now, standard EN 458 guided you in obtaining a "predictive" theoretical assessment of the attenuation of your hearing protections. By means of CAPA, you can get far more than just an airtightness test: measurement of the "effective" actual attenuation of your anti-noise protections.

Ethical software

CAPA compares the audibility thresholds detected by each user with and without hearing protections: this system guarantees you a reliable and honest result.

Universal software

CAPA allows you to check all the "intra-auricular" anti-noise protections: disposable, reusable earplugs, moulded hearing protections.

Easy to use software

CAPA is easy to implement: a computer, CAPA software, a headset and a few minutes are all that is needed to check the efficacy of your hearing protections.

By storing the results of these tests in your personnel file, you can protect yourself from the risks of occupational deafness and their legal and financial consequences.
