What is an acoustic filter?
What is an acoustic filter? Why is it an important element of the COTRAL customised hearing protections?
What is an acoustic filter?
By way of simplification, the attenuating filter is a "plastic" tube with a length and diameter. The greater the length and the smaller the diameter, the greater the attenuation.
COTRAL Laboratory have a range of 8 filters for the COTRAL Micra 3D model, 6 filters for the COTRAL Premium model and 3 filters for the Original White model.
All the filters are tested and EC-certified and offer a selective attenuation according to the frequency bands in order to adapt to the acoustic environments encountered in all industrial and agricultural fields...
Because attentive listening is worth more than any lengthy discourse...

Why use an acoustic filter?
In an industrial environment, the aim is to protect users by reducing noise to within 80 dB(A) while ensuring better hearing of the voice.
Each filter from COTRAL Laboratory has specific lengths and internal and external diameters; hence, it is possible to fit the filter that allows the best attenuation / communication ratio. |
