COTRAL Laboratory is expanding to satisfy you

In September, COTRAL Laboratory will be moving into its new manufacturing Laboratory in Condé-sur-Noireau (Calvados, Normandy, France) and implements all the means to be No. 1 in guaranteeing your satisfaction.

Present on the Health and Safety at Work market since 1992, COTRAL Laboratory innovates by offering hearing protections produced based on the ear impressions of each worker.

Their excellent qualities (in terms of comfort and communication) combined with services for creating awareness of noise, mean that COTRAL hearing protections are worn 100% of the time spent exposed to noise by 845 223 workers.

New premises at the service of your satisfaction

This extension increases the Head Office to 6000 m² and will provide accommodation for 200 individuals to manufacture the customised hearing protections for professionals exposed to noise.

Devoted to the Manufacturing Laboratory, Quality Department, Research and Development and Customer Service, this building will make it possible to design the anti-noise protections of the future with a manufacturing capacity of one million customised hearing protections per year.

A financial investment of 8 million €

This investment is part of a development plan amounting to 8 million € over 2008-2011 focusing on 4 sections:

• Regional recruitment of technicians to provide support close at hand for professionals exposed to noise in France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland
• Adopt the leading-edge technologies (scanner, 3D manufacture) to offer increasingly comfortable and effective hearing protections
• Design the customised hearing protections of the future in order to:
  
  • satisfy the "users" of moulded earplugs,
  • guarantee the peace of mind of the prevention departments: "the risk of deafness is controlled"
  • offer managers an economic and reassuring solution
• Open up new markets in Great Britain, Italy and Spain... to offer a complete range to international corporations.
