History2011: Development of software for measurement of efficacy of the protections, CAPA. 2010: In September, COTRAL Laboratory moved into its new manufacturing Laboratory in Condé-sur-Noireau (Calvados, Normandy, France) and implements all the means to be No. 1 in guaranteeing your satisfaction. This extension increases the Head Office to 6000 m² and provides accommodation for 200 individuals to manufacture the customised hearing protections for professionals exposed to noise. 2009: Renewal of the 2008 version of the ISO 9001 certification. COTRAL Laboratory' Quality Management System guarantees the complete satisfaction of our customers in France and on international markets. 2008: Launching of the COTRAL Micra 3D and Prima 3D protections, manufactured in 3D based on ear impressions, based on Crylit ® (a hard material used for digital manufacture of the protections). 2006: ISO 9001 certification, version 2000. 2005: Development of the Customer area on the web, allowing each company to manage its fleet of COTRAL protections online. 2004: Construction of a head office and a manufacturing laboratory with an area of 1870 m². 2002: Year of export development. COTRAL Laboratory set out to conquer European markets and recruited employees in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. 2000: The head office was increased to 400 m2 and produced no less than 30,000 customised hearing protections per year. New features were introduced: the first-generation detachable cord, a comic strip to create awareness about noise, an impact-proof and dustproof storage case. 1998: The range of protections developed: the ULTRA MINI hearing protection was launched! 1997: In order to establish the needs in terms of attenuation and communication, COTRAL Laboratory created an assessment method (the ATAG method) which determines the optimum acoustic filter for each user. 1996: COTRAL Laboratory became a training establishment in France. In order to cope with this high rate of growth, COTRAL Laboratory moved into premises with an area of 220 m² in the industrial zone of Condé-sur-Noireau. 1992: Laurent CAPELLARI purchased the company SIHS (Société Internationale d'Hygiène et de Sécurité) which was experiencing financial difficulties... and COTRAL Laboratory were born. Restructuring of the company was subsequently begun. The hearing protections developed, the services provided were increased in number and the team of Prevention Technicians expanded... Production of hearing protections was increased by 65% within 3 years. |
